The National Network of Digital Schools now offers the Lincoln Interactive fourth grade curriculum, available for the 2012-2013 school year.
The new fourth grade curriculum meets or exceeds national and state standards for math, language arts, science, and social studies. It covers 36 weeks of instruction, which can be completed at a student’s own pace.
Each lesson combines online lessons, videos, games, and research with hands-on experiments, projects, and activities. All aspects of the curriculum are developed by the NNDS team of certified teachers, creative writers, and visual artists.
Among the unique features of Lincoln Interactive fourth grade are 3,2,1 Blastoff!, a book that will help students understand strategies to become excellent independent learners and prepare for a variety of tests and assignments; the Lincoln Interactive Math Reference Sheet, 4th Grade, which is a useful tool for math activities; and Lincoln Interactive Literature Collections, 4th Grade, a collection of short stories and poems used in language arts lessons. Another distinctive piece is Latasha and the Kidd on Keys, by Michael Scotto, the sequel to the well-received novel Latasha and the Little Red Tornadothat was a part of Lincoln Interactive third grade.
